Tahitian Fish Friday: Dolphin

Yes! We know, dolphins aren’t technically fish, they are mammals! Even though Dolphins are not considered fish, we still want to include the majestic creatures as part of our Tahitian Fish Friday!  Like most of the South Pacific, Tahiti's ocean waters are home to pods of energetic bottlenose dolphins, often spotted on boat excursions outside the island’s lagoons. While traveling to Motu Teta from the airport, or during some excursions that bring you close to the boat entrance of the lagoon, you might be lucky enough to spot some bottlenose dolphins! We hope that you get the chance, because there truly is something magical about them!
